Weather Warning Alert
Weather warning alerts are necessary if severe weather is about to hit an area so people know to take precautions to stay as safe as possible. Unfortunately though sometimes the weather can act unexpectedly and there is not enough time to send out an alert.
The type of weather warning alert raised and the timing of release is determined by taking measurements of aspects like wind speed and rain fall. Severe weather warning alerts will be issued within 24 hours and special weather warnings will be raised within 48 hours.
The severity of the weather expected determines how a weather warning alert will be raised. In matters of urgency, where extreme conditions are expected to hit within 24 hours, special reports will be shown on primetime TV and Internet, interrupting other broadcasts otherwise weather warning alerts will just be slotted into the normal weather report. Companies who receive regular weather reports will be notified of weather warning alerts via email or phone as soon as they are raised and so stand a better chance of protecting their business or preparing for a high consumer demand.
