John Kettley

John Kettley is perhaps the most well known weatherman in the UK due to his long service with the BBC. He is one of the foremost authorities on weather and meteorological information and research after maintaining an interest in the industry for all his life.

John Kettley worked with the UK Meteorological Office for an impressive 30 years before joining the BBC in 1985 and moving to Radio 5 Live in 2001. There are a number of other notable achievements on his CV including presenting TV programmes such as the Travel Show and educational series for schools.

John Kettley has since moved further from the limelight and now works as a weather consultant to businesses like the Football Association, Twickenham and leading UK racecourses such as Newmarket and Cheltenham. He offers other services such as after dinner speeches, seminars and attending product launches as well.
