Drink Bottled Water
An increasing number of people drink bottled water nowadays, with figures almost doubling between 1997 and 2005. Many of these consumers choose to drink bottled water over tap water because they perceive it to be healthier.
Bottled water has been purified for sale though techniques like filtration and distillation, which is supposed to make it clear and odour free with a crisp, refreshing taste. These processes leave the water free of impurities and contaminants, hence the public perception of its cleanliness over tap water.
As water is a necessity in every day life the market is saturated with suppliers so consumers have a huge range of choice when they drink bottled water. No brand produces water with the same properties so no one type is better than another although after drinking bottled water for a while consumers will develop preferences.
