A car service is where vehicles are taken to a garage, usually on an annual basis or after a certain number of miles for the equivalent of a full health check in the motoring world. Your car service should always be undertaken by an experienced and reputable mechanic centre to avoid overcharging and to ensure a high quality of service.
During your car service the mechanic will list all the faults with your car that need to be fixed in order to make it fully road worthy again and if authorised, will complete the repairs required as well. A car service can be expensive but is well worth the money spent, as it is your life and the lives of other road users at risk if a faulty part causes an accident.
