Sodick K1C
The Sodick K1C is their manual EDM machine for high speed hole drilling metal work pieces that would be hard to machine using traditional techniques. It is much smaller than some of the other machines in their product range and is not CNC operated but manual instead.
The Sodick K1C drills and shapes work pieces by producing a series of rapid and repetitive electrical discharges that are passed between an electrode and the work piece. For fast results though the Sodick K1C machine uses patented Vitol machining fluid instead of water as a dielectric fluid.
The Sodick K1C is a particularly useful machine for applications in the electronic and mechanical engineering industries where intricate shapes are required. It is a widely recognised and used machine so the Sodick K1C can be found brand new or second hand from a number of reputable suppliers.
