Sodick A320D

The Sodick A320D is an EDM or spark erosion machine used for cutting hard metal work pieces that cannot be machined with traditional techniques.  It removes and shapes metal by producing a series of rapid and repetitive electrical discharges that are passed between an electrode and the work piece, which makes successively deeper craters thus giving it the desired shape.
