Linishers

Linishers are also known as a belt sanders or band facers. They are comprised of a moving horizontal or vertical belt of tough sand or emery paper that moves over two rollers to give wood or steel a smooth edge.  Linishers can be purchased in a range of sizes from 50mm to 500mm, depending on the size of the workspace and the application they are required for.

If necessary, linishers are available as multipurpose machines with a second head.  Typical combinations are linishing heads with abrasive belt grinding, disk, brushing, buffing or chamfering heads. As with single purpose linishers sizes vary from small bench machines to larger styles for heavy duty work.
