Specialised Shop Lights

Unbeknown to most people supermarkets and shops use many different styles of lighting to enhance their produce and subtly make the shopping experience easier and more enjoyable.  Reputable supermarkets will use different types of specialised shop lighting in various sections of the store.

Shop lighting should be tailored to draw potential customers’ attention and display products in the most beneficial way.  Bulbs with filters and rendering can adjust the colouring of food products to improve their appearance and highlight how fresh and delicious they are.

Specialised shop lighting will not only subconsciously persuade customers to make purchases but if chosen correctly can help to reduce energy costs and maintain the quality of certain foods.  Without specialised shop lighting vegetables may react to unnatural light by greening whilst cheese and meats may become discoloured and taste differently.
