Contract Carpet Tiles
In general contract carpet tiles are different to domestic floor tiles, which are usually more luxurious and suited to smaller spaces. Contract carpet tiles are generally too plain for residential use but are widely used in offices as a functional but quiet flooring solution.
Unlike slate, timber, vinyl and even laminate, carpet tiles are not as durable and cannot be wiped clean. However they are much cheaper option and individual tiles can be replaced easily if they are worn rather than replacing the whole floor.
Contract carpet tiles are not generally used in high traffic areas but can be seen in commercial areas such as showrooms to add a splash of colour. Although not as impressive looking as other forms of commercial flooring, contract carpet tiles are popular because of the range of colours they are available in, easily matching any decor.
