Ceramic Flooring
Ceramic flooring may not be a natural tile like slate but it has many similar benefits in that it is durable, water resistant and easy to clean so unlike carpet, spillages don’t leave stains. Tiles are usually glazed for a clean and shiny look that brightens the room and gives an impression of cleanliness. If preferred though they are available in a matt or unglazed finish. For rooms such as bathrooms and kitchens ceramic tiles can also be used on the walls, although the styles are designed differently to flooring tiles.
As with the installation of any specialist material or large element, the aid of a professional individual or company is recommended. Hiring someone experienced in fitting ceramic flooring will result in a high quality finish, even in tricky corners and probably be quicker than the attempts of a DIY fanatic.
