Moorcroft

Moorcroft pottery was originally founded under the larger ceramic company James MacIntyre & Co. in 1897. The designer, William Moorcroft found great success in his personalised pottery and was able to establish the company in its own right in 1912.

In the late 1920’s Moorcroft was appointed as a potter to HM The Queen, a true honour that few can boast. Since this point Moorcroft has witnessed highs and lows but experienced greatness in the last 20 years with widely recognised products and a devoted customer base.

Today Moorcroft are market leaders in the world of art pottery with a distinctive and colourful style. Their dedicated craftsmen ensure Moorcroft are known for the high quality of their products as well as the look, creating each piece with painstaking patience and skill.
