Integrated PCB

PCB’s or printed circuit boards are used to mechanically support and electrically connect electronic components through conductive pathways made from copper sheets laminated on to a non-conductive substrate material.  An integrated PCB is a miniaturised version used in many forms of electronic equipment today; most famously in computers.

Standard integrated PCB’s are popular in the electronics industry for a number of reasons including their high level of reliability. They are also incredibly durable for their size, inexpensive and produced at a fast rate in high-volume production.  Integrated PCB’s require more effort and incur a higher cost at the beginning of production but have more benefits in the long term than wire-wrapped or point-to-point constructed circuits.
