e-Commerce (electronic commerce) is the buying and selling of things over the internet and other electronic networks.  This has grown by an extreme amount over the past years.  This is because it is easier to access the things you want, and it is becoming safer to transfer you card details over the internet, thanks to companies like Pay Pal.  A big e-Commerce website is ebay, which you can buy and sell off.  Many companies have e-Commerce on their site so that you can buy their products easily and receive them in a short space of time.
