Commercial Contractor
The term ‘commercial contractor’ usually refers to the professionals of the construction industry that specialise in working on business premises and public areas. The requirements for constructing or refurbishing commercial areas are different to those of just building domestic housing.
Commercial properties are usually a lot larger than residential properties and often have a specific purpose, like shopping centres or leisure centres. Commercial contractors must be able to build these premises to suit their purpose with as few errors as possible.
Non residential buildings will also have far more health and safety requirements to be fulfilled due to the number of people that will work in or visit the area. Experienced commercial contractors will be up to speed on all the latest health and safety regulations as well as having a network of contacts for a swift, problem free construction.
