There are a great many types and styles of brick available on the market but with different properties, they are all suitable for different applications.  Hired builders will usually have a good understanding of bricks and their uses but should there be any confusion, suppliers and experienced staff at builders’ merchants should be able to answer your query.

Your builder can collect most types of brick from the local builders merchant but some styles are rarer and may need to specially ordered.  Similarly, if your builder requires a large stock of bricks for the project, it may take longer to order the raw materials in.
