Turned Parts
Turned parts are machined components made on sub assembly lines. Turned parts are made to be used in the construction of many articles, including:
- Automotive parts
- Bathroom equipment
- Electrical appliances
- Valves and water fittings
Turned parts can be made from many types of material, including brass, depending on the usage at the end of production. Some materials have more favourable properties than others for certain applications, such as high conductivity copper, which may be used for electrical purposes.
Depending on the requirements brass turned parts can be made to a customer’s bespoke specification or created as standard. The production of bespoke turned parts is more involved than for standard designs and so more costly, but paying more is worth it for the high quality end result.
