Standard fasteners are the parts that are manufactured in set sizes and moulds rather than being designed and created specifically for clients’ specifications. Whilst standard fasteners are considered the basic models they are nonetheless subject to rigorous testing and quality assurance standards.  Below are just a few of the industrial standards that high quality standard fasteners will be made to.

  • UNF

Standard fasteners are the items that component and fastener manufacturers are most likely to have in stock.  Most companies will therefore offer JIT systems to aid clients in their stock management.  If standard fasteners do not meet the specifications of a client they can order specialist fasteners.
