Brass Nuts and Bolts

Nuts and bolts can be made from a variety of materials, each with different properties to serve a variety of purposes.  Brass nuts and bolts are recognizable instantly by their gold appearance and created to fulfill a range of requirements.

The main benefit of brass nuts and bolts is that they can be used in applications where a low amount of friction is required.  They are also used widely in the plumbing industry along with a wider range of components and fittings.  Not always possible with other metals and materials, brass density can be amended at the foundry by varying the proportions of copper and zinc.  This allows for harder or softer brass nuts and bolts to be constructed dependent on their job.

As small as brass nuts and bolts may be they often play vital roles once the product is created and working.  Any defect could at least cause minor problems and potentially fatal accidents if they are fitted into vehicles or other such products. Nut and bolts, in fact any type of component, fastener or fitting should therefore be made to the highest quality and standards to prevent accidents.
