Planes and other forms of airborne transport are made up of thousands of parts, all doing their own very important job. Aerospace fasteners are just one component used to create aeroplanes, helicopters and such like.

Though aerospace fasteners may be tiny compared to the size of the craft they will have vital roles. Aerospace fasteners are made to certain standards to prevent problems and potential accidents. NAS, CAA, MS and BSA are but a few standards aerospace fasteners have to be created to.  The smallest fault in an aerospace fastener could cause a major problem in the air, potentially resulting in a fatal accident.
