Keyholding
Keyholding is a popular service whereby security companies have a set of keys to a property for surveillance purposes. Dependent on the security company offering the service, keyholding can be used as both a residential or business service.
Properties cannot be inhabited all the time so when the occupants go on holiday or the business closes for the evenings and weekends the security firm use their set of keys to check on the property is required. More commonly though, keyholding is used for security firms to monitor properties and raise the alarm if suspicious activity is detected. As they are responsible for the property a guard will be despatched to either check on the area or to deal with the official issues if the police have been informed. Property owners can therefore rest easy that whilst they are away any problems will be taken care of in a fast, professional manner.
