Bar Code Scanning Equipment
To use bar codes in a business, the bar code scanning equipment and software must be able to take in information from the bar code scanner and look up the selected product in a database. Not only does a complete bar code scanning system require hardware equipment such as a bar code printer or bar code scanning device, but it requires database software as well as drivers for the hardware. A complete set of bar code scanning equipment will include a RFID system to store data needed to look up the item.
